The Shoshone Lofts project has played a major role in the revitalization of the Highlands neighborhood. The RealArchitecture Staff worked closely with neighborhood committees, staff planners, city officials, and the client to create this stylized residential project, which draws inspiration from its neighborhood surroundings. The contemporary condominium consists of 30 residential units, modern finishes and large balconies to enjoy Colorado’s temperate climate.
A trench wall foundation and retaining wall were utilized in lieu of traditional shoring, which saved the developer an estimated $475,000 without compromising the design integrity of the project. The prominent building is now a fixture in the Highlands neighborhood. RealArchitecture worked as architect and engineer, as well as construction consultant for the general contractor developer.
