Speer Lofts is a 20 unit, commercial and residential lofts project in Denver’s Highland neighborhood. RealArchitecture’s responsibilities spanned all phases of this project including the development, marketing, financing, architecture, design, engineering, construction and unit sales.
Residential units were designed with 6×16 foot balconies and 10×16 foot windows, which make the most of the unobstructed views of Downtown Denver. The contemporary lofts incorporate 11 foot ceilings and exposed duct work and range between 1175 and 1890 square feet loaded with modern finishes including stained concrete floors.
Four Commercial units below include generous spaces and similar features as residential units above.
Speer Lofts is a successful model of single source design/ build projects. The principle architect was also the general contractor and financial guarantor. The project architect was the construction manager and the inter architects were the project superintendents. RealArchitecture’s applied understanding of all the phases of the project and complete involvement through the construction process ensured success.
